The Mental Health Foundation tells us that around one in ten of us growing up in the UK are affected by mental health problems of some kind. This is something that needs to change.

The latest news from Moodbeam - March 2019

March will bring us a big step closer to our Spring time arrival of our first batch of Moodbeam Ones.

Well, it seems no time since we had our 12 month roundup and already here we are with one foot into March.

This month will bring us a big step closer to our Spring time arrival of our first batch of Moodbeam Ones.  We’ve been busily perfecting the look, touch and feel of the hardware device, making sure that every potential user has been taken into consideration. We’ve had our first samples sent over and they are demos but they’re now made from the same material that will be used in the final production version. It’s so soft, gentle on the skin and looks great on all wrists, Result!

Our app development team, have been busily perfecting the app capabilities and the look and feel of how moods will be visualised. There is a lot of clever visualisations in there. Some techniques you’ll be familiar with, but so many features that will be totally unique for Moodbeam One users, that show real thought and intelligence behind how the app will be used.

Our team have been visiting the factory in China this week and are really excited at what they’ve seen while they’re out there. You’re first with the news that the production run for the first Moodbeam Ones has begun, we’re so excited!

Back on UK soil, we’re delighted to say we’ve made some fantastic in-roads in terms of reaching those who need the support that Moodbeam can bring. We’re working with local charities, mental health initiates and suicide support groups to get help where it’s urgently needed.

We’ve now confirmed orders with the University of Hull, Humber NHS, Spencer Engineering, Trans2Performance, West Lancashire Borough Council, Everton FC and its Tackling the Blue initiative, Brighton and Hove Albion within their academy, Edge Hill University, H&H Comms and CommonSense Initiative, who works with schools to raise aspirations and get conversations started around positive mental health.

Our brand and solution have reached across five continents now and every day brings a new discussion on how Moodbeam One could enhance the expertise that’s already out there and even better, encourage others to share their stories, raise the platform on mental health and evidence the many great outcomes throughout the self care community.
